Just before Christmas of 2020 Annie and I set off to the Pheasantry Brewery for Jenny and Dom’s intimate wedding. The couple had planned to have their wedding in the Spring of 2020, but due to the pandemic were forced to move it.

The Ceremony

Jenny and Dom unconventionally arrived together in the same car on their wedding day. Upon arrival Dom headed to the top of the ceremony room at the Pheasantry. A long quaint barn-like room with a bar at one end hidden behind a curtain. The wooden beams above our heads were wrapped with dried flowers and fairy lights giving it a wintry magical touch.

During these unprecedented times, Jenny and Dom, like so many, were unable to invite all of their friends and family to their wedding. So they asked us if we were able to live-stream their wedding ceremony. What a great idea! We looked into it and we were able to do it quite easily with what we had.

Despite travelling to the Pheasantry Brewery together Jenny still managed to wow Dom as she walked down the aisle. Her meticulously designed lace dress was incredible and she looked beautiful. Paired with Dom’s smart Royal Air Force uniform the pair would have put Angelina and Brad in their heyday to shame!!

Wedding Vows and Portraits

After the formal ceremony, Jenny and Dom, were allowed to read their vows to one another. It was emotional and heart felt, and there were tears!

After the ceremony, Dom changed into his suit and we headed outside for group photos with their families. Not long after Jenny’s father made a quick toast to the couple and everyone who came. Soon after, Sunset was nearing and so we headed out to capture a few portraits of the two of them. Which, was really an excuse to just mess around on the Pheasantry’s swing of course!!

Jenny and Dom, like so many couples who got married in 2020 will be having another reception in April 2022 so that they can experience the wedding they had originally dreamt of having.
